Floods: Michelle Yeoh Goes Down To The Field To Join The Cleanup Work

Famous Malaysian actress Tan Sri Michelle Yeoh makes everything look cool including cleaning up after a flood.

She spent the Christmas holidays by participating in the post-flood clean-up work in Taman Sri Muda, Shah Alam.

The Hollywood star, most recently seen on the big screen in Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings and Crazy Rich Asian, was also with Malaysian businessman and investor Tan Sri Vincent Tan.

Also present was Armed Forces chief Gen Tan Sri Affendi Buang.

Astro Awani reported that the two personalities participated in the post-flood clean-up work with a team of 502 Territorial Soldiers under the 4th Malaysian Infantry Division (4 Div).

The cleanup was participated by Shah Alam City Council (MBSA) and the Taiwan Buddhist Tzu-Chi Malaysia Foundation.

It’s the real Christmas spirit. Thank you all. I am very touched to see the people who are together here regardless of religion, race or nationality who came down to help the flood victims.

Taman Sri Muda was one of the worst hit areas in Selangor during the recent floods.

Its residents, who had been left helpless for two days before help finally came, are now facing the mammoth task of cleaning up the mud and destruction left behind.
