Recently, a woman uploaded a worrisome video on TikTok in which she and her friends were in a car coming home from a night out.

The video shows a car following them closely and kept blinding them with high beams, despite the clear road.

According to the woman, she and her friends were listening to songs in the car as usual.

At that time, they were driving in the first lane, when the suspicious car suddenly accelerated towards them.

The woman felt that she had not violated any traffic rules nor did she do anything to make others angry, so she ignored the other party.

But then comes the worrying part.

The suspicious vehicle followed them all the way from Cheras to Jalan Kuching.

The woman and her friend inferred that they might have been followed, and began to worry.

Fearing for their safety, the woman opened her window when she saw a lorry passing by, and shouted out.

The lorry driver helped them by getting behind their car, which prompted the suspicious car to back off.

Later on, the woman lodged a report on the incident at a police station.

She also uploaded another video on TikTok, in which she urged the unknown car driver not to endanger the safety of other road users.

At the time of writing, the chilling video uploaded by the woman has accumulated more than 1.3 million views in just a few days.

Advice From The Public

Naturally, netizens feel they have an obligation to be helpful.

They gave their two cents and advice on how to deal with the situation in the future.

The incident should serve as a reminder to road users out there that if you see someone harassing a girl or a girl signalling for help, do something.

Even if you’re not actually physically touching a girl, harassing her by following her on the road is just as bad.
