A lot of people say they love animals, but how many are willing to actually work with them?
You can now prove that ‘love’ with a chance to work at Zoo Negara as a “general worker.”
With the most basic requirement of being at least 18 years with an SPM, this looks like a great opportunity for high school graduates before going to university.
Qualifications and skills
- Minimum SPM holder
- 18 – 30 years old
- Can read and write in Bahasa Malaysia
- Have good observation skills
- Able to interact with visitors
- Hardworking and with a positive personality
- Comfortable working outdoors and in groups
- Able to work on weekends and public holidays
What the job entails
The role will give you the opportunity to work closely with the animals like feeding and cleaning them.
You will also put your observation skills to use by observing recording any unusual behaviours they might have.
Also, expect to clean and dispose animal “droppings” and unwanted debris.
