Hiking Kelantan Kids Gets RM30,000 Fine For Being Unvaccinated
15 teenagers between 14 to 18-years-old were caught hiking unvaccinated on Bukit Panau.

A couple of teenagers in Kelantan were caught hiking up the Bukit Panau trail without having completed their Covid-19 vaccinations on Friday (15 October).

15 people between the ages of 14 to 18-years-old were stopped by authorities that were inspecting the hill trail from top to bottom.
Reportedly the kids failed to produce proof that they’ve completed two full doses of the vaccine and were given compounds amounting to RM2,000 each.
Police say that action was taken according to Regulation 16 of the Prevention and Control Of Infectious Diseases Act 1988 (Act 342).
See, according to the rules, denizens are required to be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 to be allowed to take part in recreational activities in public, besides abiding by new normal SOPs like wearing facemasks and practising physical distancing.
