Water Coming Back In Stages From 5:00 PM, Says Air Selangor

Water will be coming back in stages in various parts of Selangor starting 5:00 pm today (14 October), according to the latest announcement by Air Selangor.
They mentioned in a statement that the improvement and maintenance work over at the Sungai Selangor Water Treatment Plant Phase 1 (LRA SSP1) has been completed earlier today at 5:00 am.
As of 6:00 am, the SSP1 WTP water treatment system has been stabilised and the water supply has been distributed to the water supply distribution system. The water supply will be distributed in stages to the consumers starting from 5:00 pm, 14 October 2021.

They added that the duration of water supply disruption and restoration in affected areas will vary depending on the location of the consumer’s premises and water pressure on the supply distribution system.
Air Selangor continues to move alternative water assistance through tanker trucks to critical premises such as hospitals, dialysis centers, Covid-19 Quarantine and Treatment Centres (PKRCs) and Vaccination Centres (PPVs) as well as for funeral ceremonies.

Based on previous reports, the water supply was expected to be fully restored at 9:00 pm, 16 October 2021.
