M’sian Paralympians Rewarded Generously For Their Best Paralympic Performance In Tokyo
The cumulative monetary amount totals to over RM4 million.

The Malaysian Paralympic team have recently been rewarded by the OSK Foundation a total of RM100,500.
Gold Medalists Abdul Latif Romly (long jump), Bonnie Bunyau Gustin (powerlifting) and Cheah Liek Hou (badminton) received RM15,000 each.
Chew Wei Lun (boccia) and Jong Yee Khie (powerlifting), both of whom won silver, received RM10,000 each.
The other 17 Paralympic athletes each received RM1,500 for their efforts and determination.
The Paralympic Council of Malaysia who has been promoting the development of para sports since 1989, were also awarded RM10,000 as an appreciation token.
The OSK Foundation Rewards and Recognition Ceremony was held virtually on 16 September.
Last month the Youth and Sports Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Faizal Azumu promised that the incentive for medal winners at the 2020 Paralympic Games will remain and will not be reduced.
Under the Sports Victory Prize Scheme Incentive (SHAKAM), gold medalists receive an incentive of RM1 million, silver medalists RM300,000 and those who win bronze receive RM100,000.
Medalists are also eligible for a lifetime monthly pension of RM5,000 for gold, RM3,000 for silver and RM2,000 for bronze.
