MM2H: MOTAC Hands Over Programme To Immigration Department

Immigration Department will take over MM2H matters after 15 September.

Yesterday, the Ministry of Tourism, Art and Culture released a statement regarding the Malaysia My Second Home (MM2H) programme.

Following up to the statement on 11 August, MOTAC said they will be handling matters of existing participants until 15 September 2021.

After the 15th, matters of applications and logistics will be taken over in full by the Department of Immigration Malaysia.

The only role MOTAC will play in the MM2H programme according to the statement is promotion of the programme via the Tourism Malaysia platform, introducing Malaysia as a long-term stay destination especially to retirees and high-income personalities.
