393 On Aug 26, 2021: New High In Daily Covid Death Toll

Today, 26 August, Malaysia recorded a new high in Covid-19 deaths, 393. The total death count to date is 15,211.
The previous high, 360, was recorded on 8 August.
Active cases are at 265,842, of which 990 are in ICUs and 487 require respiratory assistance.
A new record of 24,599 new cases was also recorded today.
In better news, 22,657 recovered today, which means that in total, 1,359,791 people here have recovered from the virus.
As of today, 13.8 million people have received two doses of Covid-19 vaccines.
