Daily Covid-19 infections in Malaysia have broken yet another record with 20,889 cases, a day after Malaysia crossed the 20k barrier for the first time.
In total, Malaysia has recorded 1,224,595 cases as of 6 August.
Selangor has the highest number of cases with 8,792, followed by Kuala Lumpur (2,483) and Kedah (1,371).
Meanwhile, Johor (1,275) and Sabah (1,291) are the other two states which have recorded more than 1,000 cases.
In a recent press conference held by the Health Ministry, they expect that infections to peak at the end of August and the curve will only flatten around 31 October.
