[Just In] 19,819 New Cases – A Record Breaking Number For Malaysia

Malaysia has once again broke the record for the highest number of daily Covid-19 infections at 19,819 new cases.
A tweet by the Ministry of Health confirmed the high number of cases in a tweet today.

Selangor, Kuala Lumpur, and Kedah has the highest number of cases with 8,377, 2,467, and 1,371 new cases respectively.

Previously the new number of cases in Malaysia has a ceiling of 17,786 cases, recorded on 31 July. However, today’s extraordinary jump in cases shows the country almost reaching the 20,000 cases per day mark.
