Here’s How Selangor People Can Skip The Queue For Covid-19 Vaccines

No need to wait for MySejahtera and you can even do it on the same day!

Selangor’s state vaccination program (SelVAX) is now open for pre-registered walk-ins at six different locations from 3 to 13 August.

Pre-registered walk-in? What’s that?

If you live in Selangor and you have not been vaccinated, here’s your chance to skip the queue and choose when and where you’d like to get vaccinated.

Selangor residents aged 18 and above can receive free vaccinations simply by registering themselves on the Selangkah mobile application and walk-in to the designated vaccination center (PPV) on the date that you have chosen.

How can we pre-register?

Step one, download the Selangkah app on your phone. All you need to register is your phone number.

Step two, open the app and click on ‘VAX’ before picking when and where you’d like to get vaccinated. PPVs will be open from 9 am till 6 pm, and you can simply walk-in at any time once your appointment has been confirmed.

This means that it’s possible for you to register, set an appointment and walk-in to get vaccinated all on the same day.

Step three, get your first vaccine dose and be given your next dose appointment date on the spot.

The program is open to all Malaysian residents and foreigners who live in Selangor.

Where are the PPVs?

PPVs for Malaysian citizens are as follows;

Tropicana Gardens Mall, Kota Damansara
Evo Mall, Bandar Baru Bangi
Hotel De Palma, Shah Alam
PKNS Sports Complex, Kelana Jaya
Aurora Place, Bukit Jalil

For now, foreigners can only get vaccinated at the PKNS Sports Complex in Kelana Jaya, but we’re hoping more locations will be open soon.

Foreigners can also register and get appointments using their phone numbers as identification instead of their passports.

Aiyo, I’ve already registered online & waiting for my vaccine appointment on MySejahtera. How la?

SelVAX is running in tandem with the national vaccination program (PICK) in order for us to get as many people vaccinated, as quickly as possible.

So if you’ve already registered online and are still waiting for your vaccination appointments via the MySejahtera app or text message, you can instead get vaccinated immediately by walking into a SelVAX PPV.

SelVAX will then update your record on the MySejahtera app and with the Health Ministry (KKM) so you won’t miss out on anything.

Hurry, the PPVs are still empty for now!
