Opposition MP’s Tried Marching To Parliament But Halted By FRU Today

At around 10 am, leaders of the opposition coalition gathered at Dataran Merdeka as they were barred from entering the parliament.
It was reported that all roads leading to parliament were blocked off by the police this morning to prevent the Special Parliament Sitting to commence as it was suspended due to Covid-19 worries.
As more MPs arrived, the crowd moved on from the gazebo to the stage at the square as politicians had their say, pointing out their dissatisfaction with the current government’s move to disobey the Agong and suspend parliament.
With a banner that read “Mahiaddin & Kabinet Letak Jawatan” (Mahiaddin and Cabinet Resign) in hand, the opposition MPs marched across Dataran Merdeka, heading towards Parliament with chants demanding the resignation of the Prime Minister and for a reformation.
