92% Of Covid-19 Patients Were Not Vaccinated, Says Health DG
97.9% of the 5 stage cases reported yesterday didn’t have any vaccination history.

The Health Ministry has revealed that 92% of newly diagnosed Covid-19 cases were individuals who were not vaccinated.
Health Director-General Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah also said in a statement that out of 14,516 cases that were reported yesterday, 95 cases (0.7%) were categorised under stage 5.
Out of that number, 97.9% of the cases had no vaccination history.
According to the Health Ministry, stage 5 patients are categorised as those who have respiratory failure and require mechanical ventilation.
He urged the public to get vaccinated as soon as possible to protect themselves and their loved ones.
Reaching 20 million
As of 26 July, the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme (JKJAV) reported that 521,923 vaccines (333,621 first dose, 188,302 second dose) have been administerd in the country.
Selangor has the highest number of vaccinations – rolling out 83,100 first doses and 47,087 second doses – followed by Kuala Lumpur (51,136 first dose, 34,511 second dose) and Johor (41,719 first dose, 43,888 second dose).
Cumulatively, Malaysia is nearing the 20 million mark with 17,839,476 doses administered as of 26 July based on the stats by JKJAV.
