Malaysia Records 199 Deaths From Covid-19, Most Number Of Fatalities In A Single Day

Malaysia has reached a new record in Covid-19 fatalities today (21 July) after recording 199 deaths, based on the stats from the Health Ministry.
In total, the number of deaths now stands at 7,440.
The country also recorded 11,985 new cases, and 137,587 active cases including 927 patients under intensive care (ICU) and 459 individuals requiring ventilators.
Selangor has the highest number of infections with 5,550 cases, followed by Kuala Lumpur with 1,174 and Kedah with 800 cases.
However, 7,902 new recoveries were also recorded today, with 806,857 patients in total recovering from the coronavirus since the pandemic began.
