Less Than 150,000 Doses Per Day Administered In The Last Two Days

The Special Committee on Covid-19 Vaccine Supply Access Guarantee (JKJAV) reported that as of yesterday, 3,030,096 Malaysians have received their first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine and 1,331,262 have completed the two doses.

To celebrate the milestone, JKJAV named Nur Amalina Baharuddin as the 3 millionth recipient of the vaccine. She received the Pfizer vaccine at the Gerik Multipurpose Hall, Hulu Perak, Perak, yesterday.

“I am so thankful as I have been checking my MySejahtera App since dawn,” she said in the video shared by JKJAV on Twitter.

Meanwhile, the number of daily vaccinations administered has dipped below the target of 150,000 doses a day for the past two days. 

JKJAV recorded over 150,000 daily vaccinations a day from 8 to 10 June. But on 11 June the number dipped to 124,618 and 133,804 on 12 June.
