Home-based teaching and learning (PdPR) methods will be implemented at all schools after the mid-year holidays. This includes private, international, and expatriate schools that are registered with the education ministry.

For public schools, this means PdPR will be used during the 25 days between the mid-year and mid-term holidays. Other schools may adapt PdPR to their schedule.

Senior Education Minister Datuk Dr Radzi Jidin added that further announcements will be made a week before the end of the mid-term holidays regarding the next school session based on the current situation at that time.

The mid-year school holiday starts from 28 and 29 May to 13 and 14 June, depending on the state. The mid-term school holidays start from July 16 and 17 to 25 and 26 July.

He said this during a special online press conference today.

40,290 more units are expected to be distributed by 12 June and 96,233 more units are set to be distributed by the end of September.
