Highest Deaths To Date: 61 People Perish Due To Covid-19 In Malaysia
Morbid numbers recorded a day before new MCO 3.0 rules.

Malaysia’s Covid-19 death toll has once again hit another all-time high, with 61 deaths today. This brings the total number of lives lost to Covid-19 to 2,309 in Malaysia.
The previous record was just 4 days ago, on May 20, when we experienced 59 deaths.
Today, we also saw 6,509 new cases of Covid-19, bringing the total number of active cases in the country to 60,018.
Of the 6,509 new cases, almost a third came from Selangor alone (2,049), followed by Sarawak (530), with Kuala Lumpur and Johor tied at 468 cases.
A total of 711 patients are currently in the ICU, the highest ever as well, as our hospitals reach maximum capacity.
