All restaurants and eateries are allowed to open until 6am for Ramadan month, announced Senior Minister (Defence) Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob.

In his daily press briefing today, the Senior Minister explained that the move was to accommodate Malaysians, especially singles, who would need food to break their fast.

This new ruling is applicable to all restaurants, stalls, eateries, coffeehouses, fast food restaurants and food delivery operations, including dine-in and takeaway options.

They are allowed to extend their operation hours to 6am, or according to the terms of their license.
