48-Hour Klang Valley Water Cut Happening Next Week, Here’s The List Of Affected Areas

Expect water cuts soon in multiple areas in Klang Valley soon as Air Selangor will be doing some maintenance work around Selangor and Kuala Lumpur areas.
The water operator said transfer and connection works for new pipes near the Carlsberg factory at Persiaran Selangor Seksyen 15, Shah Alam will cause a scheduled water supply disruption for 48 hours.
The pipe transfer and connection works will be implemented on 30 March, from 9.00 am to 9.00 pm. These works were scheduled for 12 January but was postponed following the implementation of the Movement Control Order (MCO).
Air Selangor
Air Selangor said the disruption will happen in 5 areas in the Petaling Region, 14 areas in the Klang Region, and 12 areas in the Shah Alam Region from 9:00 am, 30 March.
The water supply is expected to fully recover at 9:00 am on 1 April.

Meanwhile, Air Selangor also said that they’ll replace a valve from the Klang Gates Dam that will cause a temporary shut down at the Bukit Nanas and Wangsa Maju Water Treatment Plants, and resulting in a scheduled water supply disruption for 68 hours.
It will be implemented on 6 April, from 9.00 am to 9.00 pm.
Following the shut down, the water operator said 12 areas in the Gombak Region and 46 areas in the Kuala Lumpur Region will experience a scheduled water supply disruption from 9.00 am, 6 April. Water supply is expected to fully recover on 9 April, 5.00 am.
