Unauthorized Activities

Activities as listed in the Schedule of Prohibited Activity of PU(A) 87/2020, Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases (Declaration of Infected Local Areas) Order 2020 in force.

Fixed Instructions

Regulation 18 of PU(A) 97/2021, Prevention And Control Of Infectious Diseases (Measures Within Infected Local Areas) (Conditional Movement Control) Regulations 2021 which states “The Director General may issue any directions in any manner, whether generally or specifically, to any person or group of persons to take such measures for the purpose of preventing and controlling any infectious diseases within any infected local area.”

Activities And Protocols

Physical Distancing
- Implement physical distancing of at least 1 meter between individuals according to the size of an area / premises / building.
- Do not touch others such as shaking hands.
- Avoid being in crowds and crowded places.
- Any form of public gathering should be managed by avoiding the 3C (Crowded Places, Confined Spaces and Close Conversation)
Wearing of Face Masks
- It is mandatory to wear a face mask when having symptoms such as cough, flu or sore throat.
- It is compulsory to wear a face mask except for the following activities and places:
  - a. Own residence and involve household members;
  - b. Hotel rooms / accommodation pay alone and involve members of the household;
  - c. Solitary work space;
  - d. Indoor / outdoor sports & recreational activities;
  - e. Own vehicles and involve household members;
  - f. Indoor / outdoor public areas and places without other individuals; and
  - g. When eating and drinking in public places.
Washing Hands
- Wash your hands often with soap / water or hand sanitizer.
Body Temperature Checks
- Customers, visitors, attendees, premise owners, premise operators, traders, employees, etc. need to perform a body temperature check before entering the premises. Individuals with a body temperature above 37.5 degrees Celsius are not allowed to enter the premises.
- Body temperature is taken only once at the entrance of the complex and not at every business premise under one complex.
Sports, Leisure and Recreation, Religious, Social, Cultural, Education, Tourism, Economy, Transport and Agriculture Activities
- Comply with the guidelines set by the relevant Ministries and Agencies.
Buying and Selling Activities

- Comply with the guidelines set by the relevant Ministries and Agencies
- Online buying and selling transactions are encouraged.
Health Advice
- If you have a fever or have a cough, sore throat, flu or shortness of breath, seek treatment at a nearby hospital or clinic.
- Children and the elderly are not encouraged to be in public places and facilities except for essential needs only.
- Adopt 3W (Wash, Wear & Warn).
Use of MySejahtera Application
- Premise owners / premise operators / companies / traders must download and register in the MySejahtera application.
- The use of the MySejahtera application is mandatory in areas of widespread internet access. Exceptions are given for areas that do not have internet access, especially in rural and remote areas.
- Licensees and premise owners ensure that customers check in at the premises using MySejahtera or manually write the name and phone number if there is no internet coverage.
- Premise owners / premise operators / companies / traders must ensure that only customers with “Low Risk” status in MySejahtera are allowed to enter their respective complexes / premises.
Travel Abroad
- Follow relevant Government instructions and advice on travel abroad.
