Malaysia’s New Covid-19 Record With 3,337 New Cases Today (14 Jan)

Malaysia continues to break its Covid-19 records with 3,337 new cases reported today (14 January).
The previous record for highest new cases in a single day was merely two days ago on 12 January with 3,309 confirmed new infections.
This new record also comes with Malaysia’s second deadliest day with 15 death in a single day due to the virus, bringing the total death toll to 578.
The previous highest number of Covid-19-related deaths in a single day was on 8th January with 16 deaths.
Five states with the highest number of new cases are Selangor (1,036), Johor (460), Sabah (389), KL (257) and Penang (234).
Currently, Malaysia records 33,989 active cases with 195 patients in Intensive Care Unit and 86 patients intubated.
