New Surcharge For Astro Bill Payment Beginning January 2021 If You Use These Options

Starting January 2021, if you pay your Astro bills at any retailer, convenience shops, kiosk and e-Wallets.

Based on the FAQs by the broadcast giant, this RM0.50 surcharge is not imposed by Astro but by appointed collection agencies of Razer Merchant Services (RMS) and MobilityOne.

Meanwhile, starting 16 January of next year, e-Pay agencies will charge the same amount for bill payments made at convenience stores, petrol stations, and selected e-Wallets.

Below is the list that will charge you RM0.50:

If you don’t want to pay that extra RM0.50, you can pay using their self-service methods such as Astro Quick Pay​ or via online banking but do note that if you pay at Astro’s customer service centre kiosk, you will still have to pay the surcharge.
