PM Muhyiddin To Appear Live On TV Tonight To Talk About Budget 2021 & Other Things

Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin is scheduled to make a special live appearance on television at 8.30 pm tonight (November 7).
This time, the PM is expected to speak on the recently tabled Budget 2021 and current challenges faced by Malaysia.
On social media, Muhyiddin advocated that the budget presented in Parliament on November 6, demonstrates his administration’s “care for the people” and guarantees the nation’s prosperity and economic stability following the Covid-19 pandemic.
He explained that expenditures proposed by the budget was made to reflect the feedback the government received from 6,000 responses through various platforms.
Muhyiddin says that the budget would protect the rakyat and businesses besides help Malaysia “rebound” and secure a resilient and sustainable future.
He also said that the budget would mitigate cost of living pressures brought on by the pandemic and work to preserve the welfare of Malaysians from vulnerable groups.

Amounting to a total of RMRM322.5 billion, Budget 2021 is the largest public expenditure to be tabled in the nation’s history with proposed spending of around RM69 billion to fund the country’s development and some RM17 billion channelled to address the Covid-19 pandemic.
