Another 660 New Covid-19 Cases Today, 4 More Deaths
Most of the new cases involved Malaysians.

A total of 660 cases have been reported today, bringing the cumulative number of cases in the country to 17, 540. Of these new cases, six were imported, while the rest were from local transmission.
Out of the total local transmissions, 608 involved Malaysians while the other 46 involved non-Malaysians.
According to Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah 233 number of patients have recovered today. This brings the total number of recovered individuals in the country to 11, 605.
Meanwhile, a total of 4 deaths were reported, bringing the total number of casualties from Covid-19 to 167 (1% death rate). All 4 deaths involved patients in Sabah.
The first casualty was an 80-year old man who had a history of gout and high blood pressure. He passed away at Lahad Datu Hospital. The second casualty involved a 63-year-old woman with high blood pressure and diabetes. She passed away at Hospital Queen Elizabeth.
The third casualty was a 73-year-old woman also with high blood pressure. She passed away at Hospital Duchess of Kent. The fourth casualty was also a woman. The 47-year-old with high blood pressure passed away at Hospital Duchess of Kent, too.
