It’s business as usual for all government services as they will continue to operate during the implementation period of the Conditional Movement Control Order (PKPB) in Selangor, Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya from 14 to 27 October.
Chief Secretary to the Government Tan Sri Mohd Zuki Ali, said civil servants would adopt a rotation and work from home (WFH) system as needed, taking into account their welfare.
During this period, all government services remain operational with civil servants adapting the rotation system and WFH as required. The Head of Department should also use discretion and due diligence in this matter, while ensuring that all safety and health standard operating procedures (SOP) are fully complied with.

He said the SOP includes temperature screenings, social distancing, wearing face masks and providing sanitisers.
Zuki added that the implementation also applies to any area declared under the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) and priority should also be given to the use of online applications to minimize face-to-face services such as counter and meeting services.
He said the National Security Council (MKN) would issue a detailed SOP in the near future.
