What CMCO Round 2 Would Mean For Us In the Klang Valley [Updated]

Selangor, Kuala Lumpur, and Putrajaya will be placed under the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) beginning midnight 14 October to 27 October.
Firstly, DO NOT PANIC. We’ve been through this before, so we know not to panic over stocking up on food supplies and other necessities.
What you need to know:
- ALL BUSINESSES in all industries are allowed to operate as normal.
- However, travel between state borders is not allowed. For employees who work or travel in different districts or states, you will require a letter from your place of employment and a working pass to travel.
- All workplaces are encouraged to allow employees to take leaves or work from home.
- All healthcare services such as public and private clinics and hospitals are allowed to operate 24 hours a day. If an emergency requires additional travel out-of or into CMCO areas, additional permission is required from authorities.
- Two people per household will be allowed to leave their home to get food and daily necessities.
- All sports, recreational, social, and cultural activities are prohibited, as well as places of worship, kindergartens, preschool, schools, tahfiz centres, higher education learning institutions, skills training institutes, and child care centres.
- More details are to come from the National Security Council soon.
Health-Director General Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah noted that while the World Health Organisation does not recommend the usage of a lockdown to control the virus as doing so will exacerbate poverty and strain on the most vulnerable, this CMCO strikes a balance between limiting social movements and maintaining economic activity in an effort to bring down cases.
Since the CMCO does not impact business activities, the economic sector will be maintained, while social activities will be limited.
