Quarantine-Breaker Arrested In Rawang After People Ratted Him Out To The Cops

At this point, everyone should know the importance of a mandatory quarantine. However, some people are still knowingly breaching their quarantine and putting everyone else in danger.
In the spirit of #RakyatJagaRakyat, the public have now become more vigilant. A man was spotted wearing the pink quarantine wristband at a restaurants in Bandar Tasik Puteri, Rawang.
The public tipped off the police, who arrived on the scene to detain the 52-year-old man.
Checks revealed that the man had been ordered to undergo home quarantine until October 16. He was previously screened for Covid-19 at KLIA2 and is awaiting his test results.
The man will be investigated under Section 269 of the Penal Code for the offence of committing a negligent act likely to spread infection of any disease dangerous to life.
