Covid-19 cases have been increasing recently.

Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin reminded Malaysians that it is possible for the government to revert to the Movement Control Order (MCO) again should Covid-19 cases continue to increase.
This was mentioned in his special address to the nation on 15 September 2020.Â
He also mentioned that the government will not hesitate to enforce Enhanced MCO (EMCO) in places where high numbers of cases are recorded.
The Prime Minister called on the Election Committee officials in Sabah to ensure all campaigning activities are carried out in accordance with the standard operating procedures (SOPs) set by the Ministry of Health and National Security Council.
Muhyiddin further reminded Malaysians to continue to follow the rules and SOPs, as these are important to keep the pandemic under control in Malaysia.
