The Selangor Menteri Besar’s wife, Datin Seri Masdiana Muhamad says she recognises that her Instagram posts could have been interpreted in many ways.
Responding to a message by TRP, she also clarified that the lorry sending water to her house was not done so to fill up the swimming pool.
As a mother, I just wanted to express my gratitude to the Air Selangor frontline staff who have been working hard for the past few days. It was not my intention to brag.

She acknowledged her mistake, adding that her posts were actually meant to highlight how hard the Air Selangor staff have been working.
Furthermore, Masdiana apologised if her actions created room for misinterpretations and offended anybody.
As such, I apologise if such actions have created any misinterpretations and offended anybody.

She ended her message promising that she will be helping the Air Selangor frontline staff get adequate water to the struggling residents of Klang Valley.
InsyaAllah, I will be with the frontline staff of Air Selangor and come down to help residents in the areas that have not received water supply, especially the mothers and the elderly.

Saya menyedari kekhilafan di pihak saya untuk memuat naik gambar tersebut yang menimbulkan banyak tafsiran.
Dakwaan yang kata lori itu dihantar untuk memenuhkan kolam renang tersebut adalah tidak benar sama sekali.
Sebagai seorang ibu saya cuma ingin menyampaikan rasa berterima kasih kepada petugas barisan hadapan Air Selangor yang bertungkus lumus sejak beberapa hari lepas, bukannya niat untuk bermegah-megah.
Justeru saya memohon maaf sekiranya tindakan tersebut mendatangkan sebarang bentuk salah tafsir dan mengguris perasaan mana-mana pihak.
InsyaAllah saya akan bersama petugas barisan hadapan Air Selangor untuk turun membantu penduduk di kawasan-kawasan yang belum menerima bekalan air, terutamanya golongan ibu dan warga emas.
