PSA: Fake Surveys Pop-Ups Are Scams, Netizens Warned To Not Engage

Everyday there are new scams to watch out for while surfing the net. Scams have also gotten progressively smarter too, to the point that it’s sometimes difficult to tell what’s real and what’s not.
Recently, fake surveys from well-known telco companies have started popping up on reputable websites. They commonly look like this:

Any kind of pop-up is dubious at best, but any that asks for your personal information should be closed immediately.
Reputable companies will never use online pop-up surveys to reach their customers, so it’s always better to be safe than sorry and just ignore such pop-up ads.
