Selangor had among the highest number of Covid-19 cases across the country. In total, the state encountered 2,093 cases, 1,886 recoveries, and 24 deaths.

Meanwhile, to address the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, the Selangor state government announced the Selangor Economic Recovery Plan.

The plan, valued at RM55.85 billion will focus on rebuilding Selangor’s economy, focusing on food security and agriculture, economic sustainability and infrastructure development, as well as capacity building where the state endeavors to improve upon and venture into high-value industries.
