The Nyx Cosmetics stores in Suria KLCC, Sunway Pyramid and Midvalley Megamall will permanently close by the end of June, and its outlets in IOI City Mall Putrajaya, Fahrenheit 88 and Genting by the end of July.

From October onwards, Malayisans looking for their “NYX” makeup product will have to rely on international shipping from Amazon, ASOS and Lookfantastic (or relatives overseas).

According to Marketing Interactive, the American beauty brand under L’Oréal is exiting the Malaysian market after just three short years since opening their first flagship store at IOI Putrajaya in May 2017.

This announcement is the latest in a slew of closures in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic, from long-standing retailers to famous restaurants and hotels.
