Several districts in Johor are experiencing floods.
Areas in Muar, Iskandar Puteri, Batu Pahat, Tangkak, Kluang, and Pontian are reportedly underwater as heavy downpours throughout the week had caused floodgates to burst and flash floods in low lying areas.

Though floodwaters in some areas have receded, authorities are still taking all necessary precautions as the water level in certain locations is expected to reach more than 2 meters due to unexpected weather conditions.
Some 1,210 people from over 288 families have been relocated to temporary evacuation centers (PPS) across the state.
As a safety measure during times of Covid-19, each household is being sheltered separately, instead of the usual mass camping-like PPS set up, to maintain social distancing.

Evacuees also underwent mandatory Covid-19 screenings and provided all they would need to keep themselves hygiene.
Reportedly there are four flood victims that are sick. But health checkups and review of their contact history show no reason to suspect them for having Covid-19.
