As the country is restarting again under the Recovery MCO (RMCO), travel restrictions have also been eased to allow Malaysians to move again.

The interstate ban has been lifted on 10 June, making it possible for people to travel in the Peninsular without any restrictions, but what if they want to travel outside of the Peninsular? Say, Sabah, Sarawak or even Singapore?

We take a look at where you can go right now during the RMCO period.

Sarawak

Tourism, arts and specific cultural activities in Sarawak will be allowed to operate under the RMCO starting on 17 June.

Recently, Sarawak has allowed for entry into the state without having to undergo the PCR test.

Sabah

Malaysians can now travel to Sabah without having to undergo swab tests during the RMCO.

They only have to fill up the Health Declaration Form and adhere to SOPs set by authorities according to Chief Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal.

Singapore

For now, Malaysians can travel freely in the country without having to take the swab test but they have to do so if they want to enter the city-state.

Singapore will conduct tests on all individuals entering the republic beginning 18 June, before the 14-day notice of Stay-Home Notice (SHN) expires.

Since 21 March, all individuals entering the republic, including Singaporeans, permanent residents and Long Term Pass (LTP) holders have been required to undergo SHN.
