Selangor Is Free From Red Zones Again After 23 Days

Selangor is no longer a red zone after the Hulu Langat district recorded a sharp decline in active cases and was classified as a yellow zone.

According to information shared by the Selangor COVID-19 Prevention Task Force (STFC) on Facebook, Hulu Langat registered 11 active cases on 14 June compared to 62 cases a day earlier.

In total, 629 cases were recorded in the district.

After high recovery rates were recorded in Semenyih, in Hulu Langat, the mukim is now a yellow zone while Cheras (which is partially located within Hulu Langat) has become a green zone, making the Hulu Langat district a yellow zone.

This is the first time Selangor is free from red zones in the past 23 days.

Besides Hulu Langat, eight other districts are also classified as yellow zone and continue to show declines in active cases:

  • Gombak (12)
  • Sepang (12)
  • Kuala Langat (11)
  • Petaling (7)
  • Kuala Selangor (4)
  • Sabak Bernam ( 3)
  • Hulu Selangor (2)
  • Klang (1)
