You Can Renew Your Passport At UTCs From Tomorrow Onwards, But There’s A Catch

Malaysians seeking to apply or renew their expired passports can do so at all Immigration Department (JIM) offices at Urban Transformation Centres (UTC) nationwide from Monday, 15 June onwards.
Bernama reports that JIM released a statement on Saturday, 13 June to confirm the news. However, there is one catch.
The passport application at the offices can only be done after an appointment is made at JIM’s website (HERE).
Appointments can be made from 12noon Sunday, 14 June onwards.
According to JIM’s statement, the operation hours for UTC from tomorrow onwards is as follows:
- Peninsular Malaysia – 8am to 9pm (weekdays) & 8am to 5pm (weekends)
- East Malaysia – 8am to 5pm (weekdays & weekends)
