University Malaya (UM) once again proves its worth, coming in at a respectable 59th spot from 1,000 universities around the globe in the Quacquarelli Symonds World University Rankings (QS-WUR) 2021.

This is an 11 place jump from last year’s 70th spot.

QS used six metrics to rank universities, which include academic reputation, employer reputation, faculty/student ratio, citations per faculty, international faculty ratio, and international student ratio.

From the six metrics, UM received an overall score of 70.1 – which also places it at the 13th place in Asia’s top universities.
