Terengganu In The Green, No New Covid-19 Cases

Terengganu is now free of Covid-19.

After its last positive patient was discharged from the Tengku Ampuan Afzan Hospital (HTAA) in Kuantan, Pahang on May 27, and with no new infections detected, the state is now classified as a green zone.

The state’s health director, Dr. Nor Azimi Yunus advises Terengganurians to maintain hygiene and social distancing practices abide by Covid-19 guidelines at all times to ensure that the state remains clear of the pandemic.

Previously, Terengganu recorded 111 cases of infection with one fatality.

Cases in the state were concentrated in Dungun, Besut, Kuala Terengganu, Setiu, Kemaman, Kuala Nerus, and Marang, with Hulu Terengganu being the only district free of cases.
