Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad said that Bersatu intends to sack its President, Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin for teaming up with UMNO and Pas but added that it has to go through a Supreme Leadership Council meeting first.
After making his way to Bersatu’s headquarters, the former Prime Minister attended a press conference where he also questioned the decisions made by the Muhyiddin such as replacing Marzuki Yahaya with Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainuddin.
He also questioned the role of the party’s Organising Secretary as he said the position doesn’t allow the person to sack members, let alone the Chairman.
He held the press conference the day after he was allegedly sacked by the Organising Secretary Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu), Kapten (B) Muhammad Suhaimi Yahya.
“I came here to meet with the Organising Secretary that sacked me, but it turns out that he doesn’t want to meet me. He said he would meet me along with Hamzah, so I’ll wait.

Dr Mahathir then proceeded to exercise his power as Bersatu’s Chairman and sacked Suhaimi as the Organising Secretary, replacing him with Datuk Sazmy Miah.
