The military is joining the police in finding those who traveled interstate without permission said General Tan Sri Affendi Buang.
There will be teams that will patrol housing areas and villages with spot checks conducted on vehicles outside of homes during Hari Raya.
He said that authorities want to identify if the vehicle and the owner were given permission to travel interstate or otherwise.
Earlier, Senior Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said the police and military will conduct patrols during the festive season to ensure Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) compliance.
During Hari Raya, the government has allowed for up to 20 family members to gather at a single place.
