Sg Besi Expressway (BESRAYA) Lane Closure Extended For 1 Month Until 12th June

The periodic lane closure on the Sungai Besi Expressway has been extended for a month from 13th May to 12th June.
According to Bernama, the lane closure affects Kilometre 12.0 to Kilometre 12.4, from 11pm to 5am, for Sungai Besi and Kuala Lumpur bound.
To facilitate construction works, 3 lanes from Sungai Besi direction will be closed while the middle, farthest right and farthest left lanes from Kuala Lumpur direction are closed.

Despite the 300-metre lane closure, one lane is still open for those heading towards Kuala Lumpur.
MMC-GAMUDA has advised that light vehicles bound for Sungai Besi use the alternative road at the Kuchai Lama traffic light intersections and turn to the left side of the road.
Meanwhile, heavy vehicles in the same direction will be directed towards the Kuchai Lama traffic light intersections, turn right towards Kuchai Lama and make a U-turn near the Ajinomoto factory.
