Seven foreign men are believed to have escaped from a quarantine centre in Kuala Lumpur on 4 March, according to reports.

The Star reported that the doctors started to notice that the men were not present in the centre around 10 am when the medical personnel were making rounds and examining the patients.

The men were suspected to have fled the facility shortly before sahur by damaging the fence at the quarantine centre.

The personnel in charge have informed the police and Rela personnel and authorities are still tracking the whereabouts of the escapees.

Those who escaped were supposed to be under quarantine until 7 May.

It’s reported that the ones who got away were Indonesians and Bangladeshis and were living with those suspected of being positive for Covid-19 at Selangor Mansion, Menara City One and Kampung Baru.
