According to Malaysiakini, Malaysia only has five red zones where there are more than 40 active cases of Covid-19.

The Ministry of Health monitors close to 1,200 localities in the country, of which only five are red zones. About 75% of the localities are green zones with zero active cases.

For the past one week, most states in Malaysia have been turning into green zones.

As the number of infected people drop while the number of recovered patients increase, the number of active cases decreases.

The states of Perak, Kedah, Penang, Perlis, Terengganu, and Kelantan have no localities marked as red or orange zones, which means that each locality has less than 20 active cases each.

Green zones have zero active cases. Yellow zones have one to 20 active cases. Orange zones have more than 20 cases. Red zones have more than 40 cases.

The latest data up to April 25 shows the red zone localities as Ulu Benut in Johor, Labu in Negri Sembilan, Kuching and Kota Samarahan in Sarawak, and Hulu Langat in Selangor.
