EPF Extends Employer Contribution Deadline For March 2020 Salaries

Due to the impact of the Movement Control Order (MCO) on businesses, the Employees Provident Fund (EPF) has extended the date for employers to remit their mandatory contribution for the salary month of March 2020 (April contributions).

Under normal circumstances, the employer must make the monthly payment by the 15th of each month, eg: Contribution for January 2018 salary must be paid on or before 15th February 2018.

Malay Mail reports that the revised period is now April 15 to April 24, 2020.

Employers can make the contribution payments on the EPF website via e-Caruman in the i-Akaun (Employer) portal, internet banking or by visiting the counter of appointed banks.
