Selangor Starts Mass Testing For Covid-19

Selangor is conducting mass screenings for Covid-19 in 6 red zones, as the states tries to curb the spread of the coronavirus.
The red zones in Selangor are Hulu Selangor, Hulu Langat, Petaling, Klang, Gombak and Sepang.
Menteri Besar Datuk Amirudin Shari said the state will conduct up to 400 to 500 tests per day to identify more positive cases. They will target the high risk groups such as senior citizens.
It was previously reported that 5 villages and two 2 Orang Asli villages in the Hulu Langat district have been placed under Enhanced Movement Control Order after a number of cases were recorded in the area.
According to statistics by the Ministry of Health, as of 11 April, Selangor has 1,183 cumulative cases and is the state with the highest infection rate in the country.
