Melaka Tengah Now A Covid-19 Red Zone

The district of Melaka Tengah is the latest area classified as at Covid-19 red zone, bringing the total to 26 nationwide according to the Ministry of Health (MOH).
This is after 44 coronavirus cases have been recorded in the district, based on infographics by the MOH which was disseminated on social media.
As of 10 April, the Ministry has reported 4,346 confirmed cases with 70 fatalities while the number of patients who’ve recovered is 1,830.
Selangor (1148) and Kuala Lumpur (713) are two states with the highest number of positive cases, followed by Johor (523).
Meanwhile, Lembah Pantai in Kuala Lumpur continues to record the highest number of cases at 427, while Hulu Langat and Petaling in Selangor recorded 368 and 328 cases respectively, followed by Kuching, Sarawak with 209 cases.
Terdapat penambahan zon merah menjadi 26 mengikut statistik terbaru sehingga 12pm, 10 April.
