With the Health Ministry growing increasingly concerned of a third wave of Covid-19 outbreak via imported infections, Malaysians who return from overseas are required to undergo compulsory 14-days quarantine.
To ensure compliance, the authorities have begun enforcing the quarantine beginning 3rd April where all Malaysians and visitors will be transported to designated centres to be isolated for 14 days.
This move is also part of the tighter regulations under phase 2 of the Movement Control Order (MCO).
According to Malay Mail, there are 472 gazetted quarantine stations for Covid-19 in the country, which include public universities, community colleges, technical institutes, stadiums and prominent hotels.
Interestingly, the list of gazetted quarantine stations also includes several luxury hotels.
There’s no word yet on who gets the luxury of isolation in these plush locations, but here’s some that may interest you.
