Another 106 New COVID-19 Cases Reported In Malaysia Today

Today the Health Ministry reports another 106 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Malaysia. This brings the new total of national cases to 1,624.

Out of the confirmed 106 new cases, 43 have been identified from the cluster of tabligh event attendees. The other 63 come from the other clusters currently being investigated by health officials.

There are currently 64 COVID-19 patients in ICU, including 24 of whom requiring mechanical ventilators assisting them to breathe.

Meanwhile, 24 more patients have reportedly recovered and discharged from the hospitals. The current total of recovered patients is 183, putting Malaysia’s recovery rate at 11.3%
