Chief of Police Tan Sri Abdul Hamid Bador has confirmed that 6 members of the Royal Malaysian Police force have tested positive for COVID-19.
Another 335 individuals, including family members of the infected officers, are under observation and awaiting test results.
The Ministry of Health (MOH) has clearly explained the risks, and it’s a possibility that every single officer in the PDRM could be infected. These are the risks that we have to take while carrying out our duties.

Tan Sri Abdul Hamid also notes that public adherence to the MCO has improved.
Public adherence to the MCO have increased up to 90 percent, but we hope to see the adherence level increase further.
