We would not recommend getting onto the Federal Highway right now.
Currently, the roads around Petaling Jaya and the Glenmarie area are super congested as motorists try to get onto and off the Federal Highway.

The massive traffic jam is being caused by a burst water pipe.
Around 7 pm last night, a water pipe alongside the busy highway reportedly burst. Authorities have been carrying out repair works to the pipe all day and hence have blocked off a few lanes. The repair works may take several more hours.

According to reports, the burst pipe occurred somewhere at KM6.6 (Shah Alam – Kuala Lumpur).
Motorists from Klang and Shah alam heading to Kuala Lumpur are advised to use the NKVE, LDP or NPE as alternative routes. OR, you could just stay put and lepak dulu.

“The Federal Highway towards KL is really jammed because the right lane has been closed since last night just before Kerinchi for Syabas to conduct repair works. Updating now as I forgot to update last night.”
